Visio Divina | John 8

visual meditation to accompany this week’s slō podcast meditations on the book of John.

The same hand
Scribbling in the dirt
Could have dragged
You into public scorn
Could have thrown
The first stone
The same voice that
Called you daughter
Could have called you
Sinner or worse
The same eyes that beheld
your naked frame
Saw you before there was
A frame to behold
The same man who
Asked about your husband
Asked, “where are they?”
All have left
All have quieted
All but He
Go, be free
